Creating a leisure hub with sports, shopping, and entertainment
Re-imagining an industrial site as a leisure destination for Oberhausen, Germany, required master planning and programming so as to develop a hub tailored to the regional marketplace, with a program with a broad range of activities.
Working with RTKL, Kevin created the architectural styles and theme park plans required to get preliminary planning approvals from the local authorities. Today, more than 28 years after the initial master plan vision was established, the Centro development has become a hub of entertainment and a part of the Oberhausen lifestyle.
